I am getting the timezone error you describe. I cannot fix it by setting in php.ini because I am on a shared server.

ERROR:
2009-03-17 19:37:54 [2048] date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. Please use the date.timezone setting, the TZ environment variable or the date_default_timezone_set() function.

How do I fix it? I need to set the time zone to US Central Time.
